Guildhouse School London is proud to be one of the best schools in the UK for Business. From our Bloomberg Lab and annual Incubator Business Challenge to our regular workshops with highly experienced industry professionals, Guildhouse offers multiple opportunities for students to develop their business acumen alongside their academic studies. In 2024, 45% of Guildhouse students progressed to study Business, Economics, Finance, or related degrees. Guildhouse School London is an excellent launchpad for undergraduate study and careers in business.
But for some students, the traditional academic journey doesn’t fit their more varied ambitions and talents. It can be challenging to find a school that can effectively support students pursuing athletic, artistic, or other professional ambitions alongside high school studies. For Kuzey Citak, Guildhouse School has been a great place to prepare for an undergraduate degree in business whilst also pursuing a career in motorsports.

Kuzey Citak Profile

Subjects: Business, Economics and Financial Trading

Sporting Success
Kuzey began his motorsport career racing in various Rotax karting championships across the UK, Italy, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates. He has secured several top five finishes. He is considered a very promising driver, which is reflected by his signing for the 2025 season to German team W&S Motorsport. So far this season, he has participated in GT4 Winter Series – Pro, Rafa Racing by Race Lab, and McLaren Artura GT4. He races in the Porsche 718 Cayman RS CS GT4. He is also a part of the W&S Motorsport Academy programme, designed to prepare young drivers for professional motorsport.
Kuzey was eager to transition to GT4 racing to pursue his ambition of becoming a professional driver. Success in professional motorsport racing requires young drivers to be dedicated to a rigorous training and racing schedule. From physical and mental fitness to extensive training on and off the track, it is a demanding programme that requires a huge commitment of time and energy. Weekend races often require drivers to travel over Fridays and Mondays, while training needs may require whole weekends and even weeks to complete.

For Kuzey, competing in karting and GT4 racing means occasionally missing some lessons. But as an aspiring Business undergraduate, it was important to him that he was still able to complete his high school studies. Guildhouse School has supported him in balancing his commitment to motorsports with his academic education. From extensions on homework to catch-up sessions, Kuzey has been supported to continue his UFP studies and prepare for university. Traveling can also mean early starts and late returns to Premier House, our boarding accommodation, but this has all been facilitated and supported by the boarding team at Guildhouse.
This year he has competed several times within the UK and internationally, performing really well in each race. In February 2025, Kuzey came a very respectable eighth in the Valencia leg of Winter Series by Gedlich Racing. It was an excellent result for an emerging driver and indicates future success as his training and experience progresses.
Class of 2025 Graduate

Guildhouse Graduation 2025 saw Kuzey cross the stage with his classmates as part of the Class of 2025. He is now busy completing his UFP examinations and making final preparations for university. With his karting background and the backing of a well-established team, Kuzey Citak is considered a rising star to watch in the GT4 European Series.
