Campus
A Global School in a Global City
Guildhouse School campus is in the centre of the exclusive Bloomsbury area – the heart of academic and literary London. From our central location, students become immersed in London’s enterprising culture which celebrates and rewards high achievers.
Built in the late 17th century, our campus comprises a row of impressive regency townhouses with all the style and flourish one would expect. Our classrooms overlook the famous Bloomsbury Square and with a short walk to Holborn Tube Station, we are perfectly placed to explore the city.

Life on Campus
Laundry
We offer a weekly laundry service with a local laundry company and students will need to pay for this service. Alternatively, washing and drying machines are available for students to use.
International food
All meals are served on campus for catered students, cooked by our team of onsite chefs. As we look after students from all over the world, we know the importance of enjoying a taste of home as well as trying food from different cultures.
Library
The school library is available onsite and has a growing collection of books, magazines, DVDs, careers and university information which students can borrow. There are also study tables, work stations and a digital library with personal computers and a colour photocopier/printer.
Leaving the campus
If students wish to leave the campus overnight or leave the city they can apply for an exeat – this will allow them to explore other amazing parts of the UK such as nearby Cambridge, or visit university open days.
Evenings
Students living in our main campus residence should be back by 21.30 Sunday to Thursday, unless they are taking part in an activity, to give them time for Prep (supervised study). On weekends students will be back in their residence at either 22.30 or 23.30, depending on their age. Students evenings can then be spent doing their homework and private study in their room, or socialising with their friends.
Getting around London
We encourage students to explore the varied entertainment and educational scene that London offers. The campus is very well connected, making it easy for students to find their way around, with both Holborn and Russell Square Underground stations nearby, as well as numerous bus stops.
Religious worship
Guildhouse School is a non-denominational organisation. We respect students right to practise their religion and are happy to give details of the closest church, mosque, synagogue, temple or alternative place of religious worship. We can also try to put students in touch with a member of their faith who lives locally.
