Senior Leadership Team

As Deputy Headteacher, Ben is responsible for the day-to-day running of the school. He oversees student progression, which includes Higher Education advice, guidance and support. Ben is responsible for academic matters including teaching, learning, assessment, reporting and quality standards. He works closely with the Assistant Headteachers to provide an excellent, well rounded student experience. Ben is also the Designated Safeguarding Lead and manages the Welfare and Safeguarding Team. His subject specialism is Economics - he has previously been a Head of Department and a senior examiner for one of the leading UK examination boards.

Deputy Headteacher 

Christopher is responsible for various projects around the school, liaising with external and internal partners to ensure student’s aspirations are reached and outcomes are achieved.​ Before becoming Assistant Principal, Christopher had been Curriculum Director of Science and a Teacher of Science at the school.​ Christopher read Molecular Biology at University College London, before working in the insurance sector and now, for the last 13 years, he has been working in high achieving education establishments in the UK.

Assistant Head (Projects and Outcomes)

Head of Boarding and a member of the Senior Leadership Team, Gareth is responsible for all things concerned with life in Central London for our boarders of Premier House, when they aren’t otherwise occupied by their daily schedules. A graduate of French and German; Gareth has spent over 18 years working in boarding schools with various responsibilities, including teaching as well as sports coaching and he now heads up our boarding team at Guildhouse School.

Jamie is responsible for Pastoral Care and Personal Development at Guildhouse School, ensuring that high standards of care, support and effective guidance are in place for students. Jamie and his team of Pastoral Directors and their Personal Tutors strive on facilitating the personal development of students so that they develop the confidence, skills, and qualities to achieve academic success and go on to become successful individuals in the future. Jamie’s subject specialism is English and he has previously held teaching and academic management positions in the UK and other countries around Europe.

Boarding

 

We offer two fully supervised boarding houses, giving students the opportunity to experience living in London however they want to. We have an accommodation block within three minutes walking distance of the school and another that is just 15 minutes away by tube ride.  

Both our accommodation options are modern, secure ensuites and are supervised by our house parents and security 24 hours a day.
