Pre-A level is designed as an introduction to the UK Further Education system and follows a similar approach to GCSE, but with a duration of one year or less. Students experience a wide range of subjects which prepares them to progress to study A level, although this programme is also suitable for students wishing to progress to study UFP if they are of the appropriate age.

Overview
This programme provides the skills and knowledge needed to progress to our A Level or University Foundation Programmes (UFP). Students will have the opportunity to be entered for iGCSE examinations in English and Mathematics – qualifications that are often required by leading UK universities. Pre-A Level students are required to take all subjects within their chosen pathway.
